A core trauma-healing principle is that our defensive mechanisms initially are intelligent life movements which create survival strategies to protect us -- they are our childhood heroes. As we develop our capacities and resourcing, we can learn to include within us what was formerly held apart freeing ourselves to flow into new territories of growth and creativity. The process of healing, or 'whole-ing,' is essentially up-leveling our capacity to reside in adult consciousness.
The more connected we are with our essence, the greater our capacity to compassionately respond and choose our participation in our lives and in the world. As more and more of us say yes to our own healing journey, I wonder what innovative, collaborative, and joyful contexts we will bring to our world, together!
