Trauma Healing: Individual, Ancestral & Collective
inspired by the work of Thomas Hübl
A core trauma-healing principle is that our defensive mechanisms -- which appear to be dysfunctional -- are intelligent life movements (survival strategies) which are functional at a different level of development, sometimes referred to as childhood heroes.
As we develop our capacities and resourcing, we can learn to include within us what was formerly fragmented which frees us to grow and flow creatively. The process of healing, or 'whole-ing,' is essentially up-leveling our capacity to reside in adult consciousness.
The more connected we are with our essence, the greater our capacity to compassionately respond and choose our participation in our lives and in the world. As more and more of us say yes to our own healing journey, I wonder what innovative, collaborative, and joyful contexts we will bring to our world, together!
