Global Social Witnessing Practice
Cultivating our presence individually and in our group-field, “we space”
GSW practice is inspired by Transparent Communication and the work of Thomas Hübl:
* grounding in a trauma-informed practice which connects our physical, emotional, and mental bodies, and
* including our internal and relational fields, alignment with our inner compass, and cultivating the capacities to ‘see through time.’

Awakening through our bodies together
Embodied Witnessing brings awareness to various aspects of our aliveness in service of connecting, including, and integrating what is essential within each of us.
A trauma response involves fragmenting some aspect that couldn't be fully addressed in a given moment. While this is helpful in the short-term, troublesome symptoms and difficulties in life may appear later. Healing involves reclaiming these lost bits, as well as moving into new territories of individual and relational growth. The more self-connected and aligned we are with our wholeness, the greater freedom and capacity we can develop to compassionately respond to what's happening in and around us so we can show up with our unique participation and creativity.

An activated subtle nervous system allows us not only to sense into but to make contact with a past moment of pain in another, that we might bear compassionate witness. We can connect consciously with the living presence of our ancestors and stand with them in an experience of suffering. We can witness a wound in time from our national or racial memory, and we can tune the dial of our nervous system to that of friend, loved one, or client to connect with an early point of trauma within them, in order to hold it together with presence and witness and healing intention. We can come together in we-space with like-minded healers, therapists, conscious citizens, and changemakers to open the folds of space-time and deliver a bodhisattva’s prayer. -- Thomas Huebl, Healing Collective Trauma: A Process for Integrating Our Intergenerational & Cultural Wounds.
Listening & Subtle Competencies for Healing
Individual, Ancestral & Collective Trauma
The Listening & Subtle Competencies for Healing practice involves bringing awareness to various aspects of our aliveness in service of connecting, including, and integrating what is essential within each of us.

Listening & Subtle Competencies for Healing is grounded in meditation, Transparent Communication, and trauma healing based on the work of Thomas Huebl as well as the yoga tradition, nonviolence principles, and approaches like mindfulness and conscious communication.
The practice awakens consciousness intra-personally, gently and gradually welcoming into presence what was previously disconnected. The foundational practice of 3-Sync and 4-Sync supports many other, more complex processes, related to interpersonal communication, and inter-connection in larger groups, systems, and the collective. It is a trauma healing practice with various applications individually, ancestrally, and systemic.

Listening & Subtle Competencies for Healing Class Series
a 12-class series
I invite you to join me on a journey – where we will map the territory of our awareness and our experiences, practicing, sharing, and exploring how we can apply what we are practicing to our own personal interests, gifts, and challenges.
Each class will include presencing, connection with ourselves and each other, guided meditation, and could also include very simple breathing and non-structured movement together. It will also include journaling prompts and opportunities to listen and share in dyads and triads, and group space to share insights and ask questions.
The class will meet for 5 sessions for 90 minutes each. The conceptual and guided practices will be recorded for you to access later. Optional homework between sessions will be offered.
Classes will build from subtle anatomy, 3- and 4-Sync practices, individual and group coherence, contemplating difficulties, to ancestral and collective resilience and trauma. Classes will also be informed by each individual's participation and specific questions.
The course series will begin in mid-February. I will be offering a doodle poll to gather together 1 or 2 groups, either on Thursday evenings, Friday afternoons, or Saturday mornings.
