Trauma-informed Pathways of Transformation, Healing and Evolutionary Embodiment
In the early 2000's I named my business Transformation Playground as it reflects appreciation for and a playful approach towards the many pathways home to ourselves. The concepts which ground Transformation Playground are universal, drawing from ancient traditions, mystical teachings, embodiment, nonviolence, relational practices, and current / emergent wisdom related to healing developmental, ancestral, and collective trauma.
By diving deeply into multiple transformational systems, maps, and practices over the past several decades, I gained an awareness of how approaches overlap and differ -- what’s unique about them, what universal aspect they illuminate, and practical discovery processes to embody what is essential. My work arises through synthesizing my professional and personal experiences. Of course, my journey is ongoing, and my personal 'about' page includes more details about my studies and projects.
Following are brief definitions of what I mean by the words healing, transformation, evolutionary, embodiment and play:
Healing is a return to wholeness, to our naturalness, and restores a felt sense of interconnected flow.
Transformation implies a movement from one state to another.
Evolutionary refers to evolving movements of growth, development, becoming, and even our soul's journey through our lives, and
Embodiment is a practical 'here-ness', a heart-felt groundedness, interconnected with nature and our planet.
Play is a context which is naturally emerges through connection and inner spaciousness, becoming ever more available in whatever ways resonate through each of us in direct correlation with releasing identifications which limit connection with our essence.
